Continuing your Limouxin bike ride under a beautiful blue sky…you’ll discover the village of Bellegarde du Razès, which is a veritable heritage cure: the church of Saint-Clément, the remains of an ancient surrounding wall…and has the particularity of being a charming circular fortified village.
A walking trail is available on the theme of “Histoires d’Eau” (Stories of Water), with 14 panels to discover the various uses of this natural resource.

Shortly afterwards, take a plunge into an old railway tunnel that’s a bit unusual: the path is lit very dimly to respect the chiroptères, the indigenous bats. This is where they make their home, and a shelter has been set up to protect them. An almost mystical silence descends, and the last thing you want to do is disturb them… and continue on your way. The véloroute is truly eco-responsible… As you pedal at your own pace, you’ll breathe in deeply… the beneficial effects of this lovely ride will already be felt.
