A tradition of over 400 years for the longest Carnival in the world. From January to the end of March or even the beginning of April, “Fécos” and “Goudils”, accompanied by traditional music, dance under the medieval arcades of the Place de la République, taking you into a great whirlwind of colors, festivities and typical music.
At around midnight, on the night of the Tuesday of the village festival, one witnesses a funny scene in Ladern-sur-Lauquet, a charming village of about 300 souls. Dressed in old white nightgowns, white bonnets and grimaced with black smoke on their faces, in single file, the inhabitants celebrate the Buffoli.
