Couiza

Couiza is located at the mouth of the Aude and Salz rivers, in the heart of the Upper Aude Valley and at the crossroads of Cathar country. It is a small dynamic town rich in natural and historical heritage. The diversity of its vegetation (garrigues, maquis, vineyards), and the proximity of forests and pastures, make this place an ideal destination for vacations close to nature. River the Aude allows many activities, such as fishing and whitewater sports.
