Cépie

Cépie rises amphitheatrically at the foot of a hillside on the road from Carcassonne to Limoux, in a beautiful plain, watered by the Aude. The houses are squeezed around a few narrow streets, the church occupies the center. Bordered on its northern limit by the Malepère massif, Cépie is included in the Natura 2000 network, this site is recognized as being of community interest mainly for three species of bats and the habitat “dry grasslands” rich in orchids.
